WDBO's Jim Turner, host of Central Florida's Morning News, was named Medium Market Personality of the Year at the 2004 National Association of Broadcasters' Marconi Radio Awards last week. The Marconi Award, like the Oscar in film or the Emmy in television, is the highest form of recognition for outstanding performance in the radio industry.
WDBO's General Manager Bill Hendrich states, "Jim is an outstanding talent that has been with WDBO for over 30 years...we're proud to have him and gratified that he has been recognized by our industry."
