The guy we targeted is the guy we got. The shooting guard played four seasons in college where he averaged over 20 points per game in his senior season. He led his team to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Tournament. He is a scorer who is not shy about pulling up from mid-range (long range). Considering the uncertainty of our shooting guard position, he is a kid who has the ability to come in and make an impact. We know the kid can score. Now, he's now gonna have to show that he can defend the two guard position at the next level and improve his consistency. He is a high character kid.<br> Does't this sound like de-ja vu all over again from two years ago? Or should I say de-JJ vu?<br> This blog could have been written about our 11th draft pick of 2006. All you have to do is edit out the words All-American, Player of the Year, All time three point scorer, premier basketball program, and hall of fame college coach.<br> Courtney, be sure to pack some nice sports coats and ties for your trip to Orlando.
