Casey Anthony will not be deposed in defamation suit
Judge Jose Rodriguez ruled that Casey will not have to give a deposition in the defamation suit against her. But he said lawyers for Zenaida Gonzales can submit written questions. Gonzales attorney Keith Mitnik argued against that.

"Because I want spontaneous answers to my questions, and I want to be able to follow up on the spot," he said.
Casey's attorneys argued that the questions could force her to incriminate herself in the murder of her daughter and Judge Gonzales agreed.
"No matter how much we want to separate these cases, they are intertwined," he said.
Zenaida Gonzales says she was defamed by Casey Anthony when the mother told police in July that a nanny named Zenaida Gonzalez had kidnapped her daughter, Caylee.
Caylee's remains were found on December 11th. Casey Anthony is charged with her murder.
