Will she or won't she? There's a growing tension in Tallahassee about whether the state's chief financial officer will throw her hat in the ring for an opening US Senate seat.

Florida CFO Alex Sink says it's not just a pick up and play situation. She has a lot to consider. "It has to do with how I can best serve Florida. It has a lot to do obviously with my family. It's a huge undertaking to take on a race. My family is certainly a factor there."

Sink has long been rumored to be a democratic candidate for the US Senate seat that Mel Martinez will vacate in 2010. She told reporters Tuesday that she won't drag out her decision. "I can't stand the tension myself. So I'll be ready to make an announcement soon."
