One killed and power lost in crash
A 20-year-old Orlando man was killed and two others were seriously injured after a crash car early Saturday on Goldenrod Road.
The accident happened around 4am. Christopher Moyer was reportedly speeding on Goldenrod approaching Vista Bella Loop. Another car was turning from Vista Bella Loop onto Goldenrod when Moyer's vehicle collided with it. Myers then continued down Goldenrod before crashing into a power pole knocking out power to the area. Power was restored by noon. A passenger in Moyer's car, 20-year-old Omar Gamboa, was killed. Another passenger and Moyer were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. The occupants of the other car were not injured. An investigation by the FHP is underway to determine if alcohol played a role in the crash.
