Casey Anthony civil suit heats up
There's been a lot of action in the defamation case against Casey Anthony this week, and there's more to come.
'Do you admit the Zenaida Gonzales who is suing you has never babysat for Caylee?' 'Do you know who killed Caylee?' 'Were you involved in the death of Caylee?' These are some of the hard-hitting questions Casey Anthony is facing in Gonzales's defamation case against her, and Casey's civil attorney Jonathan Kasen says, she's not going to answer them.
"We believe that any questions she would answer could compromise her potentially in her criminal case, so that's why she's invoking her Fifth," Kasen says, adding that they'll return the questionnaire from Gonzales's attorney Keith Mitnik with Casey's name and date of birth filled in, and for the rest, she'll invoke her Fifth Amendment right not to incriminate herself.
Kasen says the law is on his side. "The case law is abundantly clear and the Florida Supreme Court has spoken on this issue as well. Now, why the other side doesn't either acknowledge that or understand that is something I don't understand."
Another thing Kasen is unclear on is why Lee, George and Cindy Anthony received subpeonas for Gonzales's case Tuesday. "We don't quite have any understanding on why it is they're setting them for deposition. I don't know what information Mr. Mitnik hopes to glean from them."
But, Kasen adds that he has a surprise move of his own - a mystery motion that he's working on with Casey.
"I can't go into the specifics of that yet," he says, "but we'll be filing something, and it'll probably be filed by the end of the week."

- Civil Law suitThis whole thing is nothing but a publicity for John Morgan and his law firm Morgan and Morgan- I hope Casey pays for what she did to her little girl, but I cannot agree with this civil lawsuit. This lawsuit is based on a name, not the fact that she accused this woman of taking her child. I've been following this case from the beginning.. and nothing adds up to this woman, except the apt complex, she said the "nanny" had no children, this woman has 6, she said the "nanny" had no tattoos, this woman is covered in them, the actual physical appearance does not match, the "nanny" apparently went to college, yeah I'm thinking this cleaning lady didn't. Casey was shown a picture line up with this woman in it, and Casey never picked her out. This is a ridiculous law suit. I do not blame the grandparents for not testifying, because it can be directly linked to her criminal case... the questions that John Morgan's law firm are asking is trying to get everyone to say that Casey killed Caylee-DUH!!!!! This frivolous public lawsuit could directly affect the criminal case and possibly this beautiful little girl may never get justice all because of a publicity stunt-yet people defend this ridiculous lawsuit at the cost of Justice for Caylee. They say this woman lost her home and job because of this, well if that is true then they are suing the wrong person, This woman was never named a suspect, much less anything else.. if you can lose your job and home because someone by the same name is used in the public than there is a problem there... I hope someone commits a crime and uses my name regardless if they are talking about me or not.. apparently I can SUE-just because they used my name. I would have thought they would actually be talking about me but that is not the way apparently our justice system works

- Casey and Defense Team Should Stop Making Fools of ThemselvesCasey is guilty as hell...she stole money from her grandparents and her friend Amy Huizenga, lied endlessly to the Orange County law enforcement and parents, dragged innocent victims into the mud and destroyed their lives and reputation.
Jose Baez should be investigated by the Florida Bar Assoc. for being caught hugging and kissing Casey in the county jail, and hawking Caylee's videos and pictures to interested media. He has a convicted felon supposedly named Todd Black as his spokesperson, too. Baez and his defense team are a bunch of crooks just like Casey and the Anthonys. Something must be done to seek justice for Caylee and Zenaida since they are the victims here, - ZFG CIVIL SUITHer name cleared! Maybe some of you should read back on the police reports.ZFG was cleared the day she was questioned along with the other ZFG that lived in the area. KC even said No this is not the same ZFG. Iam not sticking up for KC by any means. But let's get real. KC is a nut case and the whole country knows and has always known that ZFG had nothing to do with this childs kidnapping/death. I agree with Nikki and nurse they are making more out of this than it is! Why? To make a buck off that beutiful baby girl. And that sickens me as much as KC does!

From the interview I recently saw and others in the past as well, I have seen that ZFG attorney's just want KC to state loud and clear, that this is NOT the ZFG that she accused of kidnapping and now murdering Caylee. Her attorneys and ZFG know KC has no money. 100% of 0 is still 0. Yes, if KC were to eventually get some kind of entertainment deal for her story or anything, ZFG could sue for that money. However, as I'm sure all of us are aware KC will be found guilty and then she CANNOT make any profit off of her crimes. That is against the law.
And KC has the nerve to sue ZFG! Are you kidding me? No, I won't answer any questions, but I'm suing you. Her attorney's are just idiots.
Look, her attorney's hired a CONVICTED FELON to do PR for Casey. Great job he's doing. I don't know about you, but do you see KC in a better light by the PR this guy/guys/firm has done for her? Gimme a BreaK!
Zenaida, YOU GO GIRL! Of course, you shouldn't make money off of Caylee's death. However, the purpose of a civil lawsuit is to make a person whole again. To put them back into the position they were before the act was done against them. I don't see how anything KC does will ever accomplish that for you. She's certainly damaged your life. However, you keep fighting until KC says loud and clear, YOU ARE NOT the fictitious nanny she made up in her lies. Keep on, keeping on. Hugs to you and your children. Stay Strong! - Ok I see turn it around on ZFG when Casey is the one who drags everyone through the mud. Lets keep Casey thinking she can never do no wrong even after she murders her beauitful daughter. I suggest that you read through all the dockets because you clearly dont a a clue.I feel bad for ZFG, Casey family and friends because there life forever will be changed because what Casey did. I have no doubt Casey will be found guilty and spend the rest of her life in jail.And if you ask me thats even to good for her IMO!

- daily bsHey Nikki, Great article...also always love what you have to say on Nancy Grace. I agree with what you are saying about making more of this then meets the eye. The daily bs turned up some VERY intersting info on ZFG and also did an interview with him and she wanted/was expecting money for it. I have not seen anything about this on msm and would love to see one of you did in and expose it. Perhaps it is because everyone is so concerned with ensuring tot mom/baby killer gets her due but I would hate to see it come out in trial and taint the real facts in this case. Perhaps the surprise motion has something to do with what was dug up at the daily bs... ? Not sure..
