22-year-old Robert Howard was found dead from being shot by 35-year-old Willie Busby, whose mother owns the home.

Busby isn't facing charges right now, but it doesn't mean he won't in the future.

"If you're going to take that type of action, you have to be able to make sure that it's justifiable, and that it's legal," said Carlos Padilla, Orange County Sheriff's Office spokesman.

Detectives are currently looking at the crime scene and interviewing people.

"They're up there now [as of Friday afternoon], looking at the crime scene, and trying to put all the pieces together," Padilla said. "They're on a fact-finding mission."

They said that the two men had an ongoing feud, but it's not known what about yet.

Howard had a long prior criminal history, but Busby does not.
