Investigators say they found several cattle that appeared to be malnourished. Deputies say the owner of the animals, Richard Rogers was ordered by the county's animal services department to have the cattle checked by a veterinarian. Checking back, deputies say the cattle are not in good health.

Now Lake County Animal Services has a civil order allowing them to seize 90 head from Rogers. In addition, services is asking the community's assistance in the care and feeding of the animals. Anyone interested in making a donation can call 1-352-343-9688.
