It's the second swine flu death in Florida since a worldwide outbreak began in April.

The 30-year-old woman died early Tuesday at Florida Hospital in Altamonte Springs.

She had checked into the hospital earlier this month and had been in isolation.

Hospital spokeswoman Samantha O'Lenick says the woman had high-risk respiratory complications that made her more vulnerable to the flu's effects.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says Florida has 562 confirmed and probable cases of swine flu as of last week.

Hospital officials and the Seminole County Health Department will update reporters today on the case. Stay tuned to AM 580 WDBO for the latest.
