Casey Anthony's ex-boyfriend hires lawyer
Tony Lazzaro(pictured) told investigators he met Casey on the social networking website Facebook.com and that she regularly stayed at his apartment in the weeks leading up to her arrest.
Attorney William R. Jay tells WDBO that he's been told by lawyers for Zenaida Gonzales that Lazarro will soon be deposed in Casey's civil case - though nothing had been filed in court as of Monday.
Lazzaro was previously deposed by lawyers for Casey in her criminal case, and Jay said he expects his client to again by questioned in that case "now that they have a death penalty qualified lawyer" - referring to the addition of Dr. Andrea Lyon to the defense team.
Jay said he will represent Lazzaro in both cases.
We're also awaiting word from the judge on Casey fraud case. She accused of stealing money and checks from her friend Amy Huizenga.
Casey's lawyers want to stave off that case until her capital murder trail is completed, but state's attorneys have asked that it be held within two months.

She got exactly what she wanted from him-- very, very calculating. It must be weird going through life such an empty vessel. She creeps me the hell out.
- It is a shame that everyone, WHO IS COMPLETELY INNOCENT and only guilty of having the unfortunate luck to be taken in by a sociopath, needs a lawyer, because who knows who Casey, Cindy, George, Baez and DP attorney will try to finger as the murderer of Caylee. Cindy already tried to point the finger at Jesse G and Amy H (..."I think at this point Zanny could be either Jesse or Any"..). I hope those two SUE Cindy for their attorney fees.

- Caseyyou people are quick to judge, yeah their is a lot of evidence but a defense attorney is only there to make sure she gets a right to a fair trial. guilty or not. You people on here act like you know exactly what happen to this little girl, why don't you wait for the guilty verdict. how would you like to be "found guilty" before your trial? I'm not saying she's not guilty but everyone deserves a fair trial.

- poor tony l.well i imagine the lawyers of orlando must be overjoyed with little jose. look at all the work he has created for them. because his client murdered her baby and tossed her out like trash and she has NO defense at all he's going after everybody who ever met casey in an attempt to shift blame and throw them under the bus.
how much more chaos will little jose and his precious Mother of the Year create? how much MORE money in taxes will the two of them leech from the people of florida? little jose is just as disgusting as his murdering client.
