FHP says the driver of a Ford Explorer, who caused the accident, did not pull over one lane, as required by state law,
The Explorer then reentered the roadway and was swiped by a passing semi trailer.
The injured were identified as 22 year old Kerry Velasquez of St. Cloud and 23 year old Shane Dickens of Orlando.
FHP Identified the driver as 32 year old Christopher Schriefer of Kissimmee.

The roadway was closed for three hours.
What others are saying
- Thank godI know for a fact that the individual was drinking and driving, now this person was not arrested or brought to a trial. How is it that in the state of florida you can be arrested for not having proper identification but be released for dui for the second time. This time people where hurt. What about next time???
- I AM GLAD TO SAY THE DEP ID GOING TO BE FINE, IT IS A SHAME PEOPLE DO NOT OBEY THE LAW. AND MOVE OVER. THE DEP'S WHOLE FAMILY IS IN PUBLIC SERVICE AND I THINK THEY WILL AGREE, SHANE IS A LUCKY YOUNG MAN. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.
