Ric Fogelsong says the Marvel characters work very well with young boys who probably have grown out of the traditional Disney stock of Mickey and Donald.

"An opportunity to innovate in creating new rides and attractions based on new characters that will keep those tourists coming back."

Fogelsong says Disney used to create it's own content, but now is looking outside the company more often for successful material that it simply buys and then markets.

Fogelsong says he would have been more excited if the news had been about an addition to Medical City because it offers high paying jobs compared to tourism.
