A man was killed when the car driven by his wife drove into the path of another car in east Orlando.

The Florida Highway Patrol says 41-year-old Souad Sadiqu was traveling north on Chickasaw Trail Sunday morning and was trying to turned left into another car traveling south. Sadiqu's car flipped over and landed in a ditch.

Sadiqu's husband, Hason Mendoun of Orlando, was killed. Sadiqu and another man in the car, 21-year-old Adam Mendoun, suffered serious injuries. The driver of the second car, 36-year-old Melvin Munoz, was in critical condition.

The FHP says charges are pending.

What others are saying

  • Halaoui...Get it Right!
Halaoui - If your theary is correct...Then why is everyone saying that it was her fault...I could understand if it was one news channel that was misunderstood..but lets get real here. I believe it was her fault..not saying that it was intentionally but face the fact. I pray for everyone in this accident.
  • To Allah we belong and to Him is our return
We're praying also for Mendoun's Family, his wife and his nephew ... He was a wonderful dad of 3 lovely kids and a very kind person and no one deserves such tragic death !
  • Truth Needed about this Tragic Accident
All what is said in Orlando local TV news and radio channels and/or wrote online and in daily papers about this tragic accident is completely wrong as the matter of fact on Sunday Dec. 29 at around 2:00 am the driver of the mini-van had have her left signal on and was coming from South to North and just entering from the right lane into the yellow middle lane before crossing the street to get into the gate of the apartment complex and her speed meter was on almost 0 mile/hour while at that moment the red Infinity that powerfully hit them and flip the mini-van over was coming from North to South on left lane of Chickasaw Trail/East Orlando with a very high speed of 90 miles/hour in an area of only allowed 35 miles/hour as it can be attested via each car's speed meter. We need the truth and honest report on this tragedy as there is 1 man dead and four people very seriously injured due to the excess of speed of the driver of the red Infinity.
    To Be Followed!
  • MY FRIEND
