Man shot during ambush by Internet friend
A man was wounded and a woman killed herself in an ambush that authorities say began on the Internet.

The Orlando Police Deparment says 30-year-old Paula Harris met the male victim on a social networking website. At some point they exchanged addresses, and the 285 lb. Harris came to meet 44-year-old Andre Barboza at his home in the Meadowbrook Pines condos off Conroy Road.
"The suspect in the case waited for the victim to come home and then basically ambushed him, shot him multiple times," OPD Sergeant Barb Jones said.
Jones said Harris then turned the gun around and killed herself. Barboza was shot three times but is expected to survive. He's now working with investigators.
"It's just one of those cases where when people hook through the Internet, you don't know who you're speaking to, you don't really know anything about the person," Jones said. "It's just a very unfortunate situation all the way around."
