Orlando ranks 9th in nation for foreclosures
A new report on foreclosures has good and bad news for homeowners in Central Florida.

Numbers from RealyTrac show foreclosure activity in Florida was down 4% in October from the same time last year, the first such decline in more than three years. And the 51,911 notices that were sent was 6% less than in the month of September.
Even so, Florida had the third-worst foreclosure rate in the nation, behind Nevada and California.
RealtyTrac also found the Orlando-Kissimmee metro ranked ninth in the country on the list of areas with the worst foreclosure numbers. One out of 117 homes received a notice in October. Cape Coral-Fort Myers was the only other Florida city on the list, at number five.
