Teen murder victim laid to rest

Detectives say William Davis III, a man with a history of violence and sexual abuse, kidnapped Malave from her job at a Longwood car dealership, took her to his house in Pine Hills, raped her and then strangled her to death.
Mourners wore t-shirts with Fabiana's picture on the front, and though the media wasn't allowed inside the church, those that were there described an emotional service.
"They are very sad," said one man. "They have a lot of pain."
As friends led her casket out, some were overcome with grief.
"We want to send our love out to the family," said one friend. "We've known her since she was a little girl."
A long procession of cars led the casket on to the cemetery. Written on the back window of one car were the words "we miss you."
