Winter Garden home invasion was a kidnapping and robbery plot
The Borges family was blindfolded and taken in their own to an unknown location in Apopka where they were forced to spend the night.

On Monday, they were returned to their home where the wife, Marcela Borges, was forced to drive to a Bank of America in Ocoee and remove $23,600 from the family's account.
On Tuesday, things turned violent.
Police say that Marcela was able to remove her mask and her bonds and the mask of one of her captors, a young woman.
That suspect then screamed to the other kidnappers,"She saw my face and knows who I am. You have to kill her!"
As the wife jumped out of a second floor window and started to run to a neighbor's home, she was shot in the back.
The bullet went clean through, but struck her left wrist, shattering it.
Two of four suspects then stole the family's Black Audi and fled. The others fled on foot, but were caught right away.
They are Victor Manuel Sanchez (left above) and Miguel Diaz-Santiz, both Mexicans who live in Apopka.
They were charged with attempted homicide, kidnapping and robbery and are being held on no bond. Immigration officials are also looking into whether they are in the U.S. illegally.
Police say they confessed to the crimes.
