Orlando Jai-Alai to keep doors open
Orlando Jai-Alai will apparently be staying open after all. In October, employees at the Fern Park fronton were told the business would close on Dec. 27.
Soon afterward Hort Soper, whose family has owned the facility since the 1960s, called a meeting and announced that the new owner would be keeping the fronton open.
The buyer of the fronton is not known at this time.
Seventy-five people work at the fronton.
