Father abandons infant to look for drunk girlfriend

The Orlando Sentinel reports that a four-month-old baby girl was abandoned for two-hours in bushes near Universal Studios late Saturday night while her drunken father searched for her drunken mother, according to Orlando police.

Charles Gohde, 29, was charged with child neglect without great bodily harm, accused of leaving his infant in a stroller in bushes near the Universal Studios employee parking lot. He has since bonded out of the Orange County Jail.

The infant's mother, Ashley Gaskin, was not charged in connection to the crime.
