Will Tea Party candidate help Grayson?
Peg Dunmire is now on the ballot for November.
Could a grandmother throwing a Tea Party make sure Alan Grayson is reelected? Peg Dunmire has gone from Republican stuck in a crowded primary to Tea Party candidate on the November ballot, and she isn't looking back at her decades as a Republican.
"I think we've really had about 15 years of a disconnect with the populace and the people we send to Washington."
She goes from just another Republican trying to make a name for herself, to on the November ballot as the first Florida Tea Party candidate. I asked party head Fred O'Neal if they could split the vote and send Alan Grayson back. I got bravado.
"The decision is going to be the decision the Republican Party candidate is going to have to make, as to whether to stay in the race or whether to drop out and support Peg."

The Repubs did it to the voters with CAW in 94, then in 2000 when they got the a Repub Pres they just continued on and whether you people realize it or not, Bush & the Repubs could have closed our borders, enforce the already existing illegal immigration laws but they did nothinbg except allow the mess we have now which mark my words, it is going to tear this country apart at the seams. The Repubs are also responsible for the rule imposition on banks and lenders to give loans to that never could afford them...That was Bush and The Repubs! As for splitting the vote, there are as many dem party loyalists that are just as fed up with the dems and they are also coming to the independent side! Peg Dunmire is no longer a threat in the GOP primary. Sullivan won't need to worry about it - she won't be the GOP nominee so what do you wingnuts care if Peg is TEA or not - other than jealousy?
Guetzloe is a pro-conservative as you get. He's no fringe - unless you call Reagan Republicans the fringe.
You guys need to settle down and go back to helping Susie Homemaker win a few votes more than the 4% she's clock at right now.

Don't go R or D - go TEA! - Peg and AlanPeg Dunmire just doesn't have the character to be a viable candidate. She has a hard time standing out from the other Republican candidates so she jumps ship and hooks up with the sleazy outfit of Guetzloe, Egeroff and O'Neil, the hijackers of the Tea Party name who are now involved in a law suit with the true Tea Parties. These guys are less than respectable political personalities. They think they can use their third party to blackmail the GOP. It's a guaranteed loss for her, guess she doesn't care. Is this the kind of person anyone wants to represent them? She has about as much character as Alan has, in other word not much. We in this ditstrict are truly fortunate to have a conservative Republican with the strengh of character, morality. and ethics that can be a true representative of the people and that person is Patricia Sullivan. Patricia opens her headquarters in Eustis this weekend March 20th. It will be filled with her hundreds of volunteers that believe in her and are working tirelessly to secure her win in November.
