The headline of this article would be better if it were a more reasonable summary of the meeting: "Candidates answer (or not) question regarding hiring of illegal aliens" or something.

Craig Miller is, in fact, the only candidate who actually straight up answered the question and didn't try to avoid it. Aren't we all hungry for an elected official who just answers the question??? The other candidates were either talking about their endorsements or gave opinions about the general topic of illegal immigrants. They did not answer the question! He further explained his use of the E-verify system. He's clearly very comfortable on this topic.
Not only that, he obviously has experience creating jobs, another real plus in this economy. We need someone with that ability and know-how.
I just sent this guy a check.

The other candidates need to look at their own life. Did they check our the roofers, lawn care or other types of business they might have hired? Typical types of work that hire ILLEGALS. All the businesses require proof of who the new hire is and that is all. They do not do a complete background check, so the papers could be forged, etc. A lot of the ILLEGALS are leaving AZ because of the new regulations on enforcing the laws already on the books. I feel the protesters are just protesting because they like a cause to protest.
