TEA Party helping Grayson? Records feed new accusations
Central Florida tea party activists and some Republicans have made accusations that the Florida TEA Party is trying to throw the election in District 8 for Democrat Alan Grayson.
Financial records are leading to new concerns.
In the last quarter, Florida TEA Party candidate Peg Dunmire landed a total of six contributions to her campaign, and the $6,600 dollars she has in her campaign account is less than what records show she owes.
Meanwhile, Republican candidates Dan Webster, Todd Long, Kurt Kelly and Bruce O'Donoghue all have more than $100,000 cash on hand. Grayson, the Democratic incumbent, has more more than $1 million in the bank.
"It just shows that the tea party movement and the people at large are not supporting what the TEA Party is putting out," said Jason Hoyt with the Central Florida Tea Party Council.
He says the Florida TEA Party, backed by Ax-The-Tax man Doug Guetzloe, is up to no good.
"The reason why [Guetzloe] chose TEA is to confuse voters at the ballot box in November," Hoyt said.
But Dunmire is tired of hearing those accusations.
"This is just so absurd," she said. "I don't know what it's going to take to get these people to deal in the truth."
She says she has the personal funds to finance her campaign when it counts.
"I have the funds that I need," she said.
Flordia TEA Party officials said they've been able to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars statewide. They say much of that will be spent in District 8.

- What?!So which is it? The Tea Party is a front group for Alan Grayson, with thousands flowing into it, or a sham organization thats broke? You people can't even get your story straight.
- So what?Personally, I think it's refreshing that some people are getting into the political arena with little, or no money. Doesn't that show how effective the Dunmire campaign is, she has spent hardly any money and all of you know who she is. Peg is a wonderful conservative candidate, and once a rino wins the primary in district 8, a lot of the Republican support will swing to Peg.

- Tea PartyHoyt is being paid by the Republicans, Everett Wilkinson, is having his legal fees paid by Republicans($20,000 per month)! Who's in bed with who here? All you people are useful idiots for the corrupt RPOF. I find it funny, you tools are being used by someone else and you want to call everyone and their brother a dupe. Don't you think the Republicans know that it is in their best interest to control the Tea Party? Just watch as the Tea Party does the job you seem to be unable, or unwilling to do. - The Florida Tea Party is a SHAM.Jason Hoyt is right. Ishimo is right. Peg Dunmire is a dupe. "The Florida Tea Party" is a sham. There are only dupes within it. All their candidates were chosen by Doug Guetzloe, for one reason: TO DIVIDE THE CONSERVATIVE VOTE. Gets-so-low asked (and was turned down by) dozens of other candidates, whom he continues to slander in his direct mail campaign, alleging that he has helped the campaigns of some of the decent ones, asking people to send donations to FTP. This is slanderous.
Of course The Florida Tea Party (and other sham groups across the nation) are SHAMS. They are being organized by the Obama admin. and the DNC to try to divide the conservative vote. That's their strategy. They have no other plan to return America to prosperity. So they have to try to destroy ours.
They know they're going home in November, only to have to look for new jobs in an economy they helped to sabatage.
It's SINK or SWIM for them, so they'll continue doing what they've always done - (lie, cheat, steal, and worse!) to save their own skins.
Pretty sad, but they demonstrate the lowest level of human nature.
The only way to save the Republic at this point is to return to the Bible, or your own faith, and work through this as people of faith.

At the same time the article says "Florida TEA Party officials said they've been able to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars statewide." Which is it? Are they broke or flush with cash? Their totalt contributions as recently as March, their total contributions were just over 100,000. about 90% of that money came from Fred O'neal and Advantage Consultants which is Doug Guetzloe's company. This political party" uses the tea party brand but does not have the broad support of the Tea party movement. - T.E.A. Political Party vs. the Tea Party movementThere is a very big difference between the tea party political party and the Tea Party movement. The movement does not beleive in a third party, it will split the vote and give Allan Grayson the power. I beleive that is their intent. They are trying to fool the people by attaching the tea party name to their Party. I read an article in the Orlando Political Press and one sentence stood out to me, "If a politician wants to fool you, what does he think of you?" It has been proven that Alan Grayson is in bed with this T.E.A. Political party, he has no respect for the people or he wouldn't have spent $73,000.00 of taxpayers money to send out cd's to 100,000 people.

The essence of the tea party movement is that We The People want to choose our candidates. We don't want the democrat or republican party establishments choosing our candidates and pushing their favorites on us,...WE THE PEOPLE will decide.
In this case, Peg Dunmire was NOT chosen by the people, she was NOT chosen by the tea party movement....she was chosen by Doug (actually his 3rd choice, I heard), and per the story above (the last sentence) the T.E.A. party,...a new establishment,...is going to fund her campaign.
DO NOT BE FOOLED BY T.E.A. on the ballot in November!! - Dunmire is a dupeFurther proof that guetzloe, dunmire and their Tea Faux Party is in fact a construct of grayson. grayson knows that the only way he can be re-elected is to split the conservative vote. So he called on his good buddy and business buddy guetzloe to form the Tea Party to try to split the vote.
Voters should not be confused. The true TEA Party Patriot movement has no candidates on the ballots. A vote for dunmire or any other Tea Party candidate is a vote for grayson and his cronies.
