(Undated-AP) -- Florida gasoline prices are continuing to rise like those around the rest of the country.
The Triple-A says the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline is now $1.63 in Florida. That's up about 13 cents a gallon from this time last year. The increase is due to a variety of reasons, from a higher demand for heating oil in the Northeast to the cost of transportation.
Florida's lowest gasoline prices these days are in Tampa, at just under $1.59 a gallon for regular. Gainesville has the highest, at nearly $1.70 a gallon.
