The Casey Anthony case is headed to the state's highest court.Casey's attorney, Jose Baez, lost his appeal of her $500,000 bond in appellate court, and now he plans to take the case to the Florida Supreme Court.
Baez says he still believes that Casey's bond is excessive, and he's willing to fight it all the way to Tallahassee.
"I think 500-thousand dollar is tantamount to no bond at all," said Baez.
Casey's family has been trying to raise the money, but her dad, George, says it's not an easy thing to do.
"I don't think anyone here has a half a million dollars," said George, as he and wife left the Orange County Jail after a visit with Casey.
A new jailhouse tape has been released in the case between Casey and her brother, Lee. The two discuss leads in the search for Caylee.
"If there's ever anything particularly that I should look into or attempt to follow up on," said Lee.
"Yeah, I'll definitely let you know if things come up," said Casey.
After their most recent visit, Casey's parents say she's holding up well, and they still believe that two-year-old Caylee is alive.
