CHARGES DROPPED AGAINST WEST ORANGE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL COACH BUT HE WILL NOT BE BACK ON THE FIELD

Winter Garden, Fla — Bob Head will return to work for the Orange County School District as a Physical Education teacher until the end of the year but, the West Orange Warriors have begun a search for a new head football coach.

The 44-year-old has been on paid administrative leave since domestic charges were filed against him on January 21, 2019.

The state dropped the charges on February 11, 2019.

During his 5-year tenure as the head coach of the Warriors, Head went 48-20.

He owns a 98-57 overall mark with four district titles and eight playoff appearances.

In the meantime, West Orange is accepting applications for a new coach and will begin interviews in the next few weeks.
