ORLANDO, Fla. — The City of Orlando is set to host a free electronic waste and textile recycling event Saturday, January 18, from 9:00am to 1:00pm at Lake Nona High School.

The event is for residents to safely and properly recycle electronics (i.e. computer monitors, televisions, and phones), textiles (i.e. clothing, shoes, and towels), and soft plastics (i.e. grocery bags, bubble wrap, and shipping envelopes).

City officials say non-Orlando residents are also welcome to drop items off for recycling.
