The City of Orlando announces the start of the second phase in the reopening of Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando as part of efforts to enhance public safety in the area.

ORLANDO, Fla. — The City of Orlando announces the start of the second phase in the reopening of Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando as part of efforts to enhance public safety in the area.

City officials say this next phase will start Friday, January 17, and will involve expanding the current barricade installations from last November along Orange Avenue to include center-lane barricades on Central Boulevard and Pine Street.

The roads will remain closed to vehicular traffic while this phase gets underway.
