Ashley Moody hosts human trafficking summit in Orlando

Orlando, Fla. — Law enforcement and local, state and national leaders are meeting for the annual Human Trafficking Summit at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.

Both Governor Ron DeSantis and Attorney General Ashley Moody spoke at this morning's opening session.

“I have been astounded, as I have been involved in cases throughout the years...to see the lengths at what evil people will go to lure others into this modern form of slavery,” Moody said.

One of the panel discussions is aimed at preventing human trafficking ahead of the next two Super Bowls, which will be held in Miami and Tampa.
