The shooting happened outside the Wal-Mart on John Young Parkway and Princeton Rd after Lt. Clayton approached Loyd, who was wanted in connection with the murder of his pregnant ex-girlfriend.

Surveillance video caught the shooting on tape, and the autopsy confirms that  Lt. Clayton was on the ground when the last three shots were fired.

The autopsy shows what Police say was the fatal shot, entered her neck at a downward angle and exited through her left upper back.

She also was shot in the lower stomach, buttocks and thigh and suffered bruises and cuts on her face.

The report states the 42-year-old did not have any alcohol or drugs in her system at the time and she was able to return fire hitting Loyd once in the chest.

Police said Loyd was wearing a bullet-proof vest at the time.

The shooting of Lt. Clayton set off a massive manhunt for Loyd which ended nine days later when he was arrested at an abandoned house in Pine Hills.

He’s charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of Clayton and his girlfrind Sade Dixon.

Loyd also faces a several other charges, including shooting at an Orange County deputy.
