There is a video circulating the internet today of a terrifying encounter between a 9-year-old Florida girl and a bison.
According to the National Park Service, it happened Monday afternoon in Yellowstone National Park while the girl and her family were on vacation from Odessa, in Pasco County.
Video of the encounter surfaced on Twitter. It has since been shared and viewed thousands of times.
The bull bison is seen quietly walking and eating grass when out of nowhere, the bison charges at a group of people. The little girl gets separated from two adults who run away.
The girl is seen flying through the air.
The extent of the girl’s injuries is unknown.
