Prosecutors turned their murder case against Casey Anthony to the young men who briefly lived with the accused child killer during the time her daughter was missing.
They called Cameron Campina, Nathan Lezniewicz, and Roy "Clint" House to the stand. All told the court Anthony seemed like a normal, happy young woman. She moved in to their 2 bedroom unit at the Sutton Place Apartments in east Orlando in June.
The roommates also told jurors they never saw Caylee after Casey moved in, or heard her express any worry about Caylee's whereabouts. When they asked her about her daughter, Anthony told them Caylee was with the nanny or at the beach.
Under cross examination, Anthony's attorney Jose Baez asked the men if they were at Anthony's parents' home the day the defense claims the little girl drowned in the family pool. Both said they were not.
Clint House hung out with Casey but told the court when she moved in to his apartment in June 2008, he never saw Caylee again.
“Did you ever notice the defendant sad?” state prosecutors asked.
“No,” House answered.
“Angry?”
“No,” House said.
It's expected the final roommate, Anthony's boyfriend Anthony Lazarro, will also be called to the witness stand today. Stay tuned to WDBO for the latest information.
