Clay County Officials: School canceled due to direct threat

Clay County officials have canceled school for Orange Park High School due to a direct bomb threat that came in early Tuesday morning.

Law enforcement officials are continuing to investigate the threat performing what they call a "complete" sweep of the campus.

Students who were already on the bus are being transported to Orange Park Junior High School and students who arrived at the school were taken to the Lowe’s Parking Lot and then transported to the Orange Park Junior High School.

If parents can’t pick up their children, school officials will take care of the students and bus them home after school.

This is a developing story but officials say nothing suspicious has been found at this time.
