One of the most traveled exits on I-4 in Orlando is going to see a big change due to the I-4 Ultimate Project.
Starting at 5 a.m. Thursday, the eastbound exit to South Street is temporarily combining with the exit ramp to State Road 408.
According to FDOT, the new ramp configuration will be in place for about 18 months, giving construction crews a safe work space to demolish the old bridge over Division Avenue.
App users see a video animation of the new 82A combination ramp HERE.
Forget EVERYTHING you know about the I-4 East exit to South Street. You'll have to exit a quarter-mile SOONER than before and get in line with all the people exiting for the 408. Good luck. @news965wdbo Via @I4Ultimate pic.twitter.com/Gw1jHZtTOw
