Cops: Man attacks police horse in downtown Orlando

A 30 year old man was arrested after cops say he attacked a police horse in downtown Orlando.

We're told officers on horseback were trying to break up a rowdy weekend crowd, when Korey Jerelds allegedly cursed and took a fighting stance in front of Mr. George, an OPD horse.

Cops say he then balled up his right fist, hitting the animal several times in the neck.

Jerelds was taken to the Orange County Jail on a misdemeanor charge of striking a police animal.

Mr. George is said to being doing fine.
