Dairy Queen celebrating Miracle Treat day

DQ stores to donate $1 from every Blizzard sold to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

Dairy Queen is celebrating its annual Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, July 30, by donating one dollar or more  from every Blizzard purchased  to local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Some local stores like the one on E. Colonial drive in Orlando have already been collecting donations through it's drive-up  window. An employee there tells News 96.5 they have already raised more than one thousand dollars.

Since 1984, DQ and Children's Miracle Network have partnered to provide life-saving treatments to children in the U.S. and Canada.  To date, DQ has raised more than $100 million to help fund critical treatments, healthcare services and  medical equipment.

Dairy Queen is owned and operated by Berkshire Hathaway.
