Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Wish, arrives at Port Canaveral

PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. — A piece of Disney magic pulled into Port Canaveral on Monday morning.

The cruise line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, arrived just after 5 a.m.

Hundreds of Disney fans waited for the ship’s arrival.

There has been a ton of anticipation for the ship’s arrival. It had some delays in construction but will finally call Port Canaveral home.

The ship will immerse guests in Disney, Star Wars and Pixar adventures in unexpected ways.

The ship is packed full of one-of-a-kind entertainment and industry firsts, including the AquaMouse — the very first Disney attraction at sea.

The Wish’s maiden voyage is set for July 14. It will be a five-night cruise to Nassau, Bahamas and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. The ship will then embark on three and four-night cruises to the same destinations from Port Canaveral.
