A 9-month-old dog who was viciously attacked by his owner's neighbor now has the pep back in his step!
Cola has received new prosthetics for his two front legs after an angry neighbor attacked him and cut his legs off. Cola's owner says the man was upset that the adorable pooch had been chewing on his shoes. He went over to her home later that night, armed with a sword, and hacked off Cola's legs. She claims he told her that if she complained, he would return and kill her other dogs.
The owner brought her injured furbaby to the Thai animal welfare group Soi Dog Foundation for help.
Cola, who is said to be adjusting well to his new legs, has now been adopted by a new family. Gill Dalley is a double amputee and bonded with Cola right away.
The neighbor was arrested and sentenced to one month's detention under the Animal Welfare Law.
