Driving and parking in the city beautiful this weekend will be anything but beautiful, due to several large events.
The two-day Electric Daisy Carnival started Friday at Tinker Field on the west side of town. Thousands of people showed up and a few thousand more are expected to attend the music festival Saturday.
There is also the Veterans Day parade on Saturday, which will start at the corner of Orange Avenue and Robinson Street, in the heart of downtown.
A huge crowed is expected outside the new Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts to watch a free Sheryl Crow concert Saturday night and the Orlando Solar Bears will be at the Amway Center Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
Officials expect the Sheryl Crow concert and the Veterans Day parade to bring about 25,000 people.
Orlando police said extra officers will be on hand to help with the crowds.
