The host of a sports talk show on our sister station ESPN 580 Orlando has spent the past five years camping outside of a Best Buy for a month leading up to Black Friday.
Kevin Sutton originally did it as a way to promote his radio show. But after speaking with a homeless man he saw rummaging through a trash can for a meal, Sutton said he decided to use his month-long camp out as a way to raise awareness of Orlando's homeless population.
He also collects donations of food, clothes and other items for homeless shelters throughout central Florida.
Over the past five years, Sutton says he's been able to collect and donate more than 12 tons of food.
He also started an online fundraiser to raise money for the effort.
