The family of a 10-year-old girl who was killed when she was hit by an Orlando Utilities Company truck on Dec. 2 has decided to donate some of her some organs.
Investigators say Marisol Gonzalez suffered severe head trauma when she was hit while walking along Pershing Avenue in Orange County.
Her family made the decision to take her off life support on Wednesday.
The family moved from Puerto Rico six months ago.
"Very beautiful little girl. She loved the color pink, loved cats and dogs. She was very family friendly," said the translator.
Six people have already been saved by the organs donated by Marisol's family.
