The Florida Highway Patrol says they’re charging the man who fell out of his pickup truck while leaving a strip club. The truck ran over his leg before crashing into a home and injuring a woman.
William Edwards, 28, was leaving the Dance Royale Club on Old Cheney Highway after 2:00 a.m. on Oct. 25 when he felt out of his Ford pickup truck with the door ajar, according to the arrest report.
A new video has been released, which you can see in full on the left.
Club security told troopers they warned Edwards not to drive because he had too much to drink.
A woman sleeping inside the house was injured, but she was not taken to the hospital.
Edwards fled the scene of the crash without reporting it. He was found because he left his license at the club. He's charged with leaving the scene of a crash.
