Flaming Object Streaks Across Central Florida Sky

An object seen streaking across the central Florida sky Wednesday morning has a lot of people talking.

One of them called the News 96.5 WDBO newsroom to share what he saw.  George Olmo says he saw what appeared to be a flaming object.

"It looked like a comet," said Olmo.

Olmo says he observed the object while looking at the eastern horizon.

News 96.5 WDBO reached out to the 45th Space Wing at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, but officials could not confirm what the object was.
