Florida heat wave: how to know the signs of a heat stroke

Orlando, Fla. — Your dash thermometer is not fooling you.

Temperatures are soaring into the triple digits this afternoon across Central Florida and the Centers for Disease Control wants you to know the signs of a heat-related illness.

Here’s the CDC’s guide to the symptoms of heat strokes and heat exhaustion:

Sunburns and heat cramps are not to be taken lightly. The CDC recommends cutting down on the salty snacks and increasing water intake while you’re outside.
