ORLANDO, Fla. - A career fair hosted by the Florida Highway Patrol will be held in Orlando this evening for prospective troopers.
Transitioning veterans looking for their next career choice and former police officers are encouraged to apply, as well as civilians looking to launch a career in law enforcement.
“Troopers will be on site to talk to anyone interested in becoming a state trooper,” said FHP Lt. Kim Montes.
The event will be at FHP headquarters located at 133 South Semoran Boulevard from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Starting pay, after graduation from the academy, is $40,696.68.
