Gov. Scott makes awkward appearance on MSNBC morning show

Did you see Florida Governor Rick Scott on MSNBC's Morning Joe this morning?

Gov. Scott went on the show to talk about the March 15 Florida primaries and the debates being held this week at the University of Miami.  Of course, the show's host had questions about the governor's thoughts on the Republican race.

If you didn't get to see the exchange, you missed one of the most awkward live interviews Gov. Scott has had since taking office six years ago.

To start, host Joe Scarborough tried to get an endorsement out of Gov. Scott in the Republican Presidential campaign.

To his credit, Gov. Scott avoided endorsing a candidate and did his best to skirt the issue.  Still, Scarborough pressed for an endorsement.

Eventually, he moved on to Donald Trump and his past comments about Muslims.  Scarborough also pointed out that Gov. Scott called for the U.S. to stop admitting Syrian refugees in the wake of the Paris terror attacks last year.

The interview quickly goes from awkward to train wreck, with the show's co-host eventually ending the interview abruptly but not before Scarborough gave Scott one more opportunity to answer the question.

Scott again declined to answer the question directly.
