Apopka will soon be home to Goya Foods’ newest distribution center.
The company has confirmed plans to build it on their newly acquired land in Apopka, according to the Orlando Business Journal. They recently bought 20 to 40 acres from Mid-Florida Logistics Park.
The center will be 330,000 square feet with groundbreaking beginning in April or May. The completion date is estimated for the second quarter of 2020.
This could have a major economic impact on Apopka, as Goya has reported double-digit sales growth over the past decade while nearly doubling its product portfolio.
