Kissimmee cops are playing Santa Claus and making sure students enjoy Christmas.
The police department is once again offering its "shop with a cop" program to Kissimmee students whose families are experiencing financial problems this holiday season.
The department has partnered with Wal-Mart and Tuesday, 38 students from schools in the city of Kissimmee joined officers for shopping spree and a free lunch at McDonalds .
On Thursday, 40 students will "shop with cops" and then enjoy lunch at the Kissimmee Police Department.
Each student is provided a $130 Wal-Mart gift card for their holiday shopping.
