A convicted felon back behind bars after the Kissimmee SWAT Team moves in on a suspected drug house.

The Street Crimes Unit followed up on a month long investigation into the home on 1922 Peridot Circle where the residents were involved in selling large amounts of marijuana.

The team moved in at midnight and seized 40.6 pounds of marijuana, most of which was stored in grey buckets.  They also seized  two hand guns and ammunition, drug paraphernalia and more than $7,000 in cash.

The resident of the home, 31-year-old Omar Cox has been charged with Armed Trafficking in 25 pounds or more of cannabis, Possession of a structure while Trafficking narcotics, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Sale and Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia.

Omar Cox was taken to the Osceola County Jail where he is being held on zero bond.
