Macaulay Culkin has a new middle name and he thinks it ‘has a nice ring to it’

Macaulay Culkin’s middle name is no longer Carson. He’ll now be known as Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin.

No, that’s not a typo. That’s the ‘Home Alone’ stars new name.

The 38-year-old star created a poll on his site BunnyEars to let fans choose his new middle name after telling late night host Jimmy Fallon he'd grown tired of his original.

"So, if somebody comes up to me at the airport, and says, 'Excuse me, are you Macaulay Culkin?' I'd go, 'Well Macaulay Culkin is my middle name," he said.

The new name gained more than 60,000 votes. The runner-up, TheMcRibIsBack, came in second with 14,558 votes followed by Kieran, Shark Week, and Publicity Stunt.

After the poll closed, Culkin announced the winner on Twitter.

“You voted and the winner is clear. In 2019 my new legal name will be: Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin,” tweeted the actor. “It has a nice ring to it (if you like my name).”

We’ll have to wait and see if Culkin legally changes his middle name.
