A $60 million student housing project is going to be built right across the street from the UCF campus, with plans to be open by fall of 2014.
Winter Park Construction has been chosen to build the "Plaza on University" development on 14 acres on the corner of University and Alafaya Blvds.
The five story building with 364 living units, will include retail on the first floor and boast a courtyard with a resort-style pool, cabanas, sport courts and a bbq area.
A ten story parking garage is also being built on the site.
The project is expected to be home to over 1,300 students.
